Popular Destinations — Plan Your Next Journey
Curated by Our Guild Explorers · Updated August 2026
Eight cities that the world keeps coming back to, and for good reason. Each card below opens straight onto hotels, flights and things to do — no forms to wade through, no account to make first. Underneath them you will find the Guild's own books on these places: longer, slower reading for the weeks before you go.
Most trips begin the same way. Somebody mentions a place at dinner, or a photograph catches you, and a fortnight later you are quietly wondering what it would cost. This page is for that moment. Pick a city, look at what the rooms actually run, see what the flights look like from your own airport, and get a sense of whether the idea has legs. Nothing here asks you to commit to anything. Prices and availability come live from Trip.com, so what you see is what is genuinely on offer today rather than a number somebody typed into a page two years ago.
A word on how to read the cards. Hotels opens a live list you can sort by price, rating or neighbourhood. Flights opens fares into that city — put your home airport in and give it a moment. Things to do opens tours, tickets and day trips, which is often the cheapest way to see whether a place has enough in it to fill the number of days you were thinking of. If you would rather read first and book later, skip straight down to the Guild books.
